Thomas Harrison—Owner & Instructor

Thomas is the founder of Three Ravens Pottery and the creative force behind much of the studio’s style and spirit. He earned his BFA in Oil Painting from the American Academy of Art and later dove deep into ceramics at Western Illinois University under the guidance of Vincent Palacios.

Thomas draws inspiration from the natural world—animals, landscapes, and shifting atmospheres all find their way into his work. Influenced by potters like George Ohr, Jennifer McCurdy, and ancient ceramic traditions, his pieces balance form and function with a touch of the unexpected.

Madi Lumsden—Wheel Throwing Instructor

Madi holds a double BFA in Illustration and Ceramics and has been doing pottery since 2022. Her work is inspired by the beauty of nature, her passion for wildlife, and her love of bird watching. With a focus on environmental conservation and animal welfare, Madi brings creativity, purpose, and a warm, beginner-friendly vibe to every class she teaches.

Jesika Chantal—Handbuilding Instructor

Jesika has been working with clay since 2018 and brings her bold, expressive style to everything she touches. As our resident handbuilding instructor, she’s known for blending traditional techniques with playful creativity—guiding students through sculptural forms, textured surfaces, and projects full of personality.

Outside the pottery studio, Jesika is also a mixed media painter whose vibrant, emotive work reflects her love of color, storytelling, and a little bit of chaos. She’s the mind behind our marketing and social media, sharing the magic of Three Ravens with the world—one post at a time.
