Thomas Harrison

Thomas Harrison received his BFA from the American Academy of Art in oil painting. He also spent years studying ceramics at WIU under Vincent Palacios.

I find inspiration from the natural world. Whether it is animal, landscape, or atmosphere, I am drawn to the natural beauty of our world. I look to George Ohr, Jennifer McCurdy, and potters from ancient times for direction.

Emily Rangel-Cascio

Emily Rangel-Cascio received her BFA and MFA in Ceramics from Northern Illinois University in 2015 and 2019. Throughout both degrees, her focus was pottery and the ability of utilitarian objects to bond those who shared in their practice and use. She has received scholarships to attend Penland School of Craft and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts as well as a month-long residency with C.R.E.T.A. Rome, Italy. Post-graduation, Emily moved to Asheville, North Carolina where she worked at East Fork Pottery as a production potter. She recently came home to Rockford, Illinois to raise her children and contribute to her hometown. Emily is excited to join Three Ravens Pottery to help guide clay students within the studio as well as bolster the Rockford arts community.

Alyssa Noonen

Alyssa received a BS in Arts with a focus in ceramics in 2020. Shortly after in February 2022, she was in a terrible accident involving an apartment fire at 3am that landed her on disability for 2 years. During her time healing back home in Rockford, she focused on building an online platform and making a profit while doing so. Alyssa now splits her time between managing the social media for Three Ravens, and making her own pottery. Her craft explores the combination of altered forms, colors, illustrations, and textures to arouse the viewers senses.
